"CyTech Systems & Services" operates the MY YATRA mobile application and web service (the "Application"). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal data and information when you use our Application, as well as the third-party services (such as Google Cloud, Google Firebase, and Google AdMob) integrated within it.
1. Information We Collect
To provide seamless pilgrimage and tour travel planning, member management, and shared expense ledger functionalities, we collect the following types of information:
Account & Identity Information: When you register or sign in, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and user role (Manager/Organizer or Pilgrim/Member).
Yatra & Tour Data: Travel plans, daily itineraries, member/passenger names, travel dates, train/flight booking notes, seat details, and emergency contact references.
Financial & Expense Ledger Records: Expense entries, collection/contribution amounts, split balances, transaction categories, and payment notes entered by users for transparency among group members.
Documents & Photos (Optional): If you upload ticket PDFs, receipts, or pilgrimage photos, these documents are processed and stored securely for your group's records.
Device & Technical Information: Standard technical identifiers such as device model, operating system version, browser/PWA client version, IP address, and application diagnostic logs to ensure session continuity and stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely for legitimate operational purposes:
Facilitating tour itinerary planning, expense recording, and member coordination.
Authenticating users and securing access to group data via Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore.
Synchronizing real-time updates among authorized yatra group members.
Generating downloadable PDF balance sheets, ticket rosters, and Excel reports requested by group organizers.
Delivering in-app itinerary reminders, auditory schedule alarms, and push notifications when configured.
Serving non-intrusive advertisements to support the free operation of the Application.
Maintaining application stability, security, bug resolution, and user support.
Data Selling Prohibition: We DO NOT sell, rent, trade, or broker your personal or financial data to any data brokers or commercial third parties.
3. Advertising & Google AdMob Disclosures
To support free access to the Application, MY YATRA displays third-party advertisements served by Google AdMob (a mobile advertising service provided by Google LLC).
How Google AdMob Collects & Uses Information:
Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect, process, and use certain device information to serve, personalize, and measure advertisements, as well as to prevent fraudulent clicks.
Information collected by AdMob may include:
Device Identifiers: Such as the Android Advertising ID (GAID) or ID for Advertisers.
Technical Data: IP address, device model, operating system version, mobile network provider, and language settings.
Ad Performance Data: Impressions served, clicks, and general interaction metrics.
User Privacy Choices & Opt-Out:
Android Device Settings: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertisements at any time via your device settings:
Open Settings on your Android device.
Go to Google > Ads (or Privacy > Ads).
Tap Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.
European Regulations (EEA, UK & Switzerland): In compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy directives, users in the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland are presented with a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) message to choose between personalized or non-personalized ads, or to reject consent.

4. Third-Party Infrastructure & Cloud Services
The Application utilizes trusted infrastructure providers to deliver its services:
Google Cloud Platform & Google Firebase: Used for encrypted user authentication, database management (Cloud Firestore), and real-time synchronization.
Google Play Services: For application distribution, automatic updates, crash diagnostics, and standard platform libraries.
Google AdMob: For displaying banner and interstitial advertisements in compliance with Google Play Policies.
All data transmissions between your device and our servers are encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS (HTTPS) protocols.
5. Data Retention and Account/Data Deletion
Retention: We retain yatra records and user data only as long as necessary to provide the service, or until deleted by the user or yatra administrator.
Data Deletion Rights: Users have the right to request deletion of their account and all associated yatra records at any time:
In-App: Group organizers can clear and permanently delete yatra records directly via the trip management settings.
Email Request: You may email us directly at support@cytechsystems.in requesting full deletion of your profile and data. We will verify your identity and process the removal within 30 days.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information directly from children under 13. When families travel together on a pilgrimage, any minor traveler's name and age are entered voluntarily by the adult parent or group organizer solely for ticket allotment, seat coordination, and group headcount. If a parent or guardian discovers that a child has provided personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.
7. Security
We value your trust in providing your information and employ commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it. Database records in Firebase Firestore are strictly governed by granular role-based security rules (RBAC) ensuring only authorized members can read or edit their specific yatra data.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our operational practices, new features, or legal requirements. You are advised to review this page periodically. Any modifications become effective immediately upon posting to this URL.
